What is Family Learning? Activities designed to help families enjoy learning together.  An opportunity to keep up to date with your children’s education as well as learning new skills. Get involved Activities are suitable for mothers, fathers, grandparents and carers and take place in local schools, community venues including libraries and Children’s Centres. What is available? Fun with Science Pottery Football and maths Learn methods that are used to teach children maths in school Learn methods that are used to teach children English in school Learn how to stay safe online Animate2Educate – keep up to date with technology being used in schools Baby Sign Baby yoga Baby massage Sign Language Next Steps There are a range of opportunities for adults to up skill.  Through helping your children you can achieve English and maths qualifications, learn how to be more confident,  go to college and University, volunteer or find employment. “I am now working as a teaching assistant in my child’s school.  I never thought the first day I joined the maths class that I would end up in employment, the whole experience has been fantastic.” “I now have so many different qualifications from taking part in Family Learning classes I am now more confident and have enrolled on a course at University.” Want to know more?
