Edberts House

Edberts House is about building happier, healthier, friendlier communities. There are 3 complementary strands to our work:

1. Our 4 Community Houses based in the East of Gateshead and Highfield (Edberts, Pattinson, Larkspur and Highfield House)
2. Our Community Linking Team (Social Prescribing Link Workers) based in GP practices across Gateshead.
3. Our Health Equity Team. This is a collaboration between Edberts House, Public Health and Primary Care aiming to tackle health inequalities across the borough. Health inequalities are the unfair and avoidable differences in health experienced by different groups of people.
